Montessori inspired scissor skills tray setup to practice cutting for toddlers.

Starting with Playdoh is a great way to practice cutting for toddlers. It’s super easy to cut through.

We like to roll up green Playdoh and pretend they are green beans while we sing a song about cutting the green beans for dinner.

Toddler sensory activity: Nature Soup 🥣 such a beautiful way to incorporate natural elements into sensory play. I was the mud pie queen when I was younger and sometimes wish we had a back yard for her to be able to do the same. So we brought some nature indoors to create this little setup instead.

We had so much fun and her favorite part was definitely making it “boil”

I was inspired by the beautiful potion play @motherblue._ makes for her little. 😍

This is a simple but fun learning and sensory activity to do with your toddler with just random things from around your house.

Have your toddler guess if the object will sink or float before they put it into the water.

This toddler science experiment is such a fun sensory activity for little Dino lovers!

Make fizzy dinosaurs eggs with baking soda, water, food coloring and small plastic dinosaurs. Then hatch the eggs using vinegar and warm water and the help of bigger Dino’s!

This is a great activity to teach your toddlers about science and patience as they wait for the eggs to freeze and then try and get the baby Dino’s out.

Here is a simple and fun activity to do with your toddler to help them learn their fruits and vegetables and how to sort. I used our Norah Julia fruits and vegetables coloring book but any will work.

There are so many fun and creative ways you can use toddler coloring books for activities for your toddlers.
