This is our Montessori inspired toddler self-care bathroom space. We set it up on a small wall in a half bathroom. You won’t need much space to be able to create something similar. It’s such an awesome way to give your toddler ownership over a small area in your home.
Whether you are starting your potty training journey or are wanting to promote more independence in your toddler creating a self-care station is a great place to start.
Creating a space to promote independence and self-care at a young age is so important. Creating a space like this for your toddler will allow them to take ownership and develop more confidence in their self-care. Including this area in your daily routine will also help your toddler develop these skills as they become more familiar with daily use. Allowing your child to first explore the area in different ways like playing with the water, flushing the toilet, and reading the book will help them become more comfortable. - How does the sink work? This sink is super easy to use, clean and refill.
- Are these products worth it? What do you do when she grows out of them? We have been using these products for over a year and they still work great. I definitely think they are all worth it.
- Hand towel holder? I added a hand towel bar on my daughters sink. I put it directly on the sink itself since this space is so small. A hook on the wall would work great as well.
