Screen-Free Morning Setup
Create a screen-free morning by prepping an area for your kids the night before. Try this fun toddler space themed activity for your littles!

Steps:
- Build a spaceship using magnet tiles. We used this set and love them!
- Place a light or a galaxy projector under your table or sensory bin. This just adds a little extra fun to their sensory experience.
- Use kinetic sand as a landing place for your astronauts to pretend they landed on the moon!
- Add any astronauts or planets you have. You could also make some! We have this set and it’s great if you have a space lover!
- Set out any space books you may have. We used the space block book and love all the block books. (Check them out if you haven’t before!)
- Put out a morning snack and prep a drink. See a list of some of our favorite toddler snacks here.
- If you have a tonibox I highly recommend setting out a tonie character each night. This gives your toddler the option to listen to a show or music. (We bought my daughter one for Christmas and picked out tonic characters from some of her favorite cartoons. This has helped us have a better screen-free balance.) You could also play something on your phone or google home if you have one.

Remember to get creative with what you have! If you don’t have what you need and don’t want to buy something new, you can always try and make it! We incorporate a lot of our afternoon crafts into the next mornings setup. Like here with our frog sensory pond setup.
As always please use parental discretion when doing these activities. You know your child best and how to keep them safe and having fun while doing activities.
XO,
Diy Mama Kayleen
